Hello, my name is Greg Cameron (25 year old graduate from the Rochester Institute of Technology/Employee at CommerceHub) and I am the proud owner of the ironsidecomputers order#1985. I wanted to take this time to recognize the outstanding service Ironside Computers provided me through all stages of, what seemed to be a daunting task of creating my dream machine. I first came across Ironside when I was doing a google search for companies that built custom extreme gaming machines. After reading the reviews from dozens of companies like Ironside, in terms of positive reviews from customers�.. None come close. After seeing this I decided to check out their site more. Then after seeing their prices were extremely fair and the amount of products they supported, I called them up to chat about my options. Robert from Ironside picked up the phone and walked me through the build step by step.
Her talent truly is art and gave my computer that extra wow factor which you�d think was impossible, after everything this computer already has. I simply plugged my mouse and keyboard in, connected the power cord in and fired it up. The lights came on inside the case and the beep codes started firing! It was an unforgettable moment.Now after having the computer for about half a year, I can confidently write this testimonial and honestly say I�m blown away. I run all my games simultaneously, alt tabbing between them, all day and all night, NEVER blue screening, or having the CPU and video cards along with the memory ever coming close to overheating. Their organization of wiring inside the case, installation of the water cooling system and fan arrangement is done with perfection (to say the least). The way they organized the air flow using each fan is amazing, all the air entering the case goes through dust catchers and filters, circulating clean air on my cpu, memory and video cards
He helped me individually pick out each part and insured their compatibility along with their optimum performance. After 5 minutes of chatting with Robert, I was seeing my dream machine starting to become a reality. I never once felt like I was being misled due to their professionalism and un rivaled knowledge surrounding their products. I had my own ideas of what I wanted in my machine, and Roberts suggestions from case options, power supply needs, fan types, memory usage, cpu type, video card choice and how much to over clock each part individually not only enlightened me to what I was creating, but mainly provided me with the comfort I needed when deciding to financially invest in what we were building. I never dealt with liquid cooling in the past so I was a bit unsure of its risks and overall benefit to a machine, so Robert clearly described the performance increase this would give my computer, and when done right will be extremely safe inside the machine.
After everything was said and done with building the machine, I purchased it and had them ship it to a fed ex pick up station near by my home town in Albany, NY. When I picked it up and un wrapped it in my apartment I immediately saw how safe it was packed in there. Literally inside the case, surrounding the dual video cards, processor and liquid cooling tubes was nice foam that safe and securely held every piece in place through shipment. I was so nervous something was going to go wrong in transit, but again after seeing how they packed everything worries were quickly put to rest. I put the beast computer up on the desk I had prepared for it, and marveled in the custom air brushing their in house artist did on the side and front of the case. She meticulously painted about 100 different colored 3D cubes all around the side and front of my machine, shading each side of these cubes giving everything that amazing 3D look.
