Coverage
Warranty is void if the computer is defective due to physical damage, overclocking, or from part modifications from the original order on critical components such as motherboard, processor, CPU cooler, case, or power supply. Ironside Computers may also use similar products or similar to new products for all repairs to computer systems order if the product first indicated is out of stock. If you request for Ironside Computers to use a specific product for your order and would not like to substitute it with alternatives, please email technicalsupport@ironsidecomputers.com and indicate it on the return package.
Customer-Supplied and Opted-Out Components
Customers may elect to supply their own components (such as RAM, storage, or operating system) or to opt out of components entirely (such as graphics card) during configuration. By selecting any such option, Customer agrees that:Ironside Computers does not test, validate, or warrant any component not supplied by Ironside Computers. The standard Ironside warranty does not extend to customer-supplied components or to components installed by the Customer after delivery.If a returned system's stability, performance, or functional issue is determined by Ironside Computers' diagnostic process to be caused, in whole or in part, by a customer-supplied component, customer-installed component, or the absence of an opted-out component, the Customer is responsible for all shipping costs in both directions, and for the full cost of any parts, labor, and diagnostic time required to restore the system to working order. Ironside Computers will provide a written estimate before performing chargeable repair work.If a defect in workmanship by Ironside Computers or damage in transit during the original outbound shipment is determined to be the sole cause of the Customer's issue, Ironside Computers will reimburse any shipping costs paid by the Customer to Ironside Computers for the repair and perform the necessary repairs at no charge, subject to the standard warranty terms.Every Ironside Computers system is fully tested and validated for stability and functional performance before leaving our facility. This testing confirms that components supplied by Ironside are functioning correctly at the time of shipment.
Shipping
Ironside Computers will cover the shipping costs of any order within the 48 contiguous United States both ways and replace the part(s) within the first 30 days of receiving your computer system. The buyer takes full responsibility for shipping charges on orders shipped internationally. We will only be responsible for covering shipping costs either fully or partially for replacement computer or part(s) up to 30 days. After 30 days but before one year you will be held liable for shipping costs back, and Ironside Computers will honor warranty service and cost to ship the computer back to the customer. After one year you will be held liable for shipping costs both to and from Ironside Computers.
