The grainy details

The beauty in minimalism is that it allows for something special to truly take the stage. With Elm, I wanted to make sure the detailed wood accents had the opportunity to shine. By keeping the hardline tubing clean and simple, and letting the black components and chassis melt into the background, the walnut becomes your immediate focus. I let the geometric patterns really contrast with the simplicity of the rest of the build to create a visually compelling dynamic.
